What does a ‘woman of today’ aspire for in the given time that we are living in?

The modern woman aspires for independence, respect, and the freedom to make her own choices—whether in her career, relationships, or life in general. She wants equal opportunities, not just in words but in action. She’s strong yet sensitive, ambitious yet grounded. Most importantly, she wants to create a life that aligns with her values without being confined by societal expectations.

I don’t let numbers define my dedication. Ratings are going to rise as we go ahead with the story. Every show has its journey, and I believe in putting in my best effort regardless of ratings.

What is the significance of Women’s Day to you?

Women’s Day is not just about celebration; it’s about acknowledgement. It is a day to recognize the strength, resilience, and achievements of women in all walks of life. It is also a reminder that while we have come far, there’s still a long way to go in terms of gender equality. Personally, it’s a day that inspires me to uplift other women, to reflect on my own journey, and to be grateful for the strong women who have shaped me.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin happens to be your first big break as lead. How has the journey been till now?

The journey has been incredible—challenging yet rewarding. Being the lead in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is a huge responsibility, and every day on set is a learning experience. I have had the chance to work with talented co-actors and a hardworking crew, and I’m grateful for all the love and support I have received. This journey has taught me patience, discipline, and the importance of staying true to my craft.

How do you define Vaibhavi when it comes to her strength in tackling life’s problems?

I would say my strength comes from resilience and faith. Life throws challenges at all of us, but I believe in facing them head-on with a positive mindset. I have learned to adapt, to keep pushing forward, and to never let temporary struggles define me. Challenges make us stronger, and I see every setback as a setup for a greater comeback.

What do you intend to do to society as a woman with a celebrity status?

I believe that being in the public eye comes with a responsibility. As a woman, I want to use my voice to inspire and empower others—whether it’s supporting women’s education, mental health awareness, or simply promoting self-love and confidence. If I can influence even a handful of people to believe in themselves and chase their dreams, I would consider that a meaningful contribution.

The ratings of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin in its new phase have not been up to expectations till now. Does this affect you? What are the conversations like on the set to be motivated and concentrate on work?

Of course, we all want our work to be appreciated, but I don’t let numbers define my dedication. Ratings are definitely going to rise as we go ahead with the story. Every show has its journey, and I believe in putting in my best effort regardless of ratings. On set, the energy is always positive, we motivate each other, focus on improving, and remind ourselves that our primary job is to entertain and connect with the audience. As long as we’ ae passionate about our work, success will always follow.

What have you learnt from the industry?

The industry teaches you patience, resilience, and the value of hard work. It’s not just about talent; it’s about consistency, discipline, and how you carry yourself in tough times. I have learned that success and failure are both temporary and what truly matters is the impact you leave behind. Also, staying humble and continuously learning is the key to longevity in this field.
