Born on 26th August 1989, in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, Rubina Dilaik is an Indian daily soap actress who has appeared in many serials. She entered the television screen in 2008 with the serial Chotti Bahu, where she played the role of Radhika Shastri in the serial opposite the character of Avinash Sachdev. After the show, Rubina was also seen in the serial Sasural Simar Ka, in the character of Simran Gill in 2012. Rubina has appeared in the serial Punar Vivah- Ek Nayi Umeed, opposite the character of Karan Grover, which gained her more fame.

In 2016, Rubina accepted the offer to play the character of Soumya Singh, in the serial Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and portrays the character of a transgender. In 2020 she stepped inside the Bigg Boss house in season 14 along with her husband Abhinav Shukla and emerged as the winner.
Throughout her performance in Bigg Boss house, people got to connect better with Rubina and for some, she became a fashion inspiration due to her stylish looks and outfits which she promoted especially, during Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.

Rubina Dilaik became a participant of the Bigg Boss season 14 in 2020, where she entered the house with her husband Abhinav Shukla. Although Abhinav was eliminated from the show, Rubina kept herself calm and positive, which led her to be a great captain, leader and respected member of the house. Rubina played the game with a sporting spirit and a right mind and avoided falling into any controversies and scandals inside the house. Thus, she definitely deserved the trophy for her performance on the show. Due to her appearance in the Bigg Boss show, Rubina became known nationwide and has followers throughout the country, who still remember her as a humble actress as well as a confident, fierce leader.
