Kartikey Malviya who is winning our hearts as Sambh on ‘RadhaKrishn’, is glad to join the cast of the show. The actor says, “I am thrilled to be a part of this show as this is the first time I will be seen in a negative role and that is the most exciting thing. It is fun to do such a powerful negative character and hence I chose to take up this role.”

The actor found inspiration in Ranveer Singh to play his negative part. “I have not prepared for the role as such but I looked up to Ranveer Singh from Padmavat to portray it. I also took inspiration from Sourabh Raaj Jain sir, who played Dhananand in Chandragupta Maurya. I saw that they improvise while performing so I also do the same for this character.”

Talking about the bond with Sumedh Mudgalkar and Mallika Singh, he shares, “Sumedh bhaiya is very supportive. He is an amazing actor. I would like to say one thing that Radha is made for Mallika di. She is very innocent and humble. They are meant to play Krishna and Radha.”

On an end note, Kartikey requests fans to watch his new avatar. “People might think it to be a grey shade character, however, it is a justified role wherein he is fighting for the rights of his mother. Krishna is more attached to Radha, and Sambh has an issue that Krishna is not close to his mother. Hence, he is trying to get equal love for his mother as well. I would want audiences to watch the show and give their feedback.”
