Actor Ajay Singh Chaudhary, who entertained masses as ACP Abhay Rai Singh in Phulwa, Vishnu Kashyap in Uttaran, Akash in Junoon – Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq, is back on-screen with yet another popular role. The actor is part of the show ‘Swaran Ghar’ on Colors TV.
Talking about his new character Ajit and the show, he says, “I am excited as well as nervous. When the makers told me about my character, the first thought that came was that this type of role is not explored on TV. Ajit’s character is going to be a challenging one. My character is related to the leads Swaran and Kanwaljeet. I won’t be able to reveal much about the same. Having said that, we are bringing a different story and putting in our best to make it a hit. I hope the audiences love it.”
Sharing his working experience with co-stars and makers, Ajay mentioned, “Ravi and Sargun are friends. I have worked with the latter in a TV show named Phulwa on Colors. They are like family to me. Talking about co-stars, I have worked with Sangita Ghosh as well. However, I am working with Ronit sir for the first time. I have seen his incredible work. It was fun working with him on set. He works with dedication. The chemistry between me, Ronit sir, and Sangita is already created.”
When asked about the difference between working on TV and digital platforms, he added, “I started my acting career with TV. I am now also exploring the web along with television. Having said that, for me, the medium is not important. The character in any show or storyline is more important. The only difference between the two platforms is that in TV, you have to create banks of episodes. While OTT gives you time to understand the role and act accordingly.”
