In an exclusive chat with IWMBuzz, Roshni talks about her character and show. Excerpts:
So Roshni, tell us a bit about your journey in the show. From the beginning till the competition, how has your journey been?
I would say, struggle. I am doing all this for my dance school and my father. My sister Radhika gets eliminated. So now my only goal is that I complete my father’s unfulfilled dreams and whoever has humiliated him, I take care of that factor, and complete my father’s dreams.
Dance is a difficult form of art. How passionate are you about this art form and since when?
I like Bollywood dance in general. I don’t have any fixed form as such that I like. I happen to enjoy and like Bollywood dance a lot. Whatever my heart says and desires, I follow it with passion.
You are a small town girl trying to make it big. What are the kind of challenges a small town girl faces?
Well, I still don’t feel and think that I have talent. I feel I have been making it only because of luck. But luckily, the audience and the people have liked me. Everything now depends on the audience. I am trying to work hard on it. There’s no training as such. I am just trying my best.
Lastly, if you have to sum up your journey in one word from Satara to Mumbai, what would that word be?
Well, that one word would be ‘magical’.
