I was in tears soon after auditioning for Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke: Sangeeta Kapure

Talented actress Sangeeta Kapure who essays the role of Nidhi Rajvansh in Star Plus’ newly launched show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke feels happy to have got this show as she counts it to be the blessings of her grandmother.

Yes, the day Sangeeta was to go to the Director’s Kut office to give the audition for this role was when she got the news of her grandmother Pushpa Bagul’s death.

Says Sangeeta, “My nani was staying with me only. She had gone to my Mama’s house for a week where she expired. I did not know what to do as I was ready to go for my audition, when I got this news. However, my family asked me to attend the audition. I remained calm till the audition happened, and actually broke down in tears in their office. I simply moved out of the place leaving the rest to God.”

When Sangeeta got the news of being selected for the role, she felt as though her Nani had placed her hand over her head to bless her. “My very close friend Dr. Shweta Sharma was the one who motivated me to go and give the audition. She was sure that I would get this role. And the same happened. Even while she left for the heavenly abode, my nani showered me with blessings in the form of this role.”

Sangeeta who is also part of the cast of Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara will play the role of Nidhu Rajvansh. Talking on her role she avers, “Nidhi is the bahu of the house who is glamorous at the same time dumb. She is very scared of Meenakshi Rajvansh. However she will bitch about her behind the back. My character has always wanted to get the aura that Meenakshi has.”

Last but not the least, Sangeeta thanks Producer Rajan Shahi for the role in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. “When I met Rajan Sir in his office, he told me that he was looking for an actor like me for this role. I felt happy on hearing this.”

Best of luck, Sangeeta!!
