Actor Pratham Kunwar who is known for his roles in TV shows Yeh Hai Chahatein, Udti Ka Naam Rajjo, Beti Hamari Anmol etc, has joined the cast of Zee TV’s unique concept Hamara Parivar. The show is a one-of-a-kind concept that is being explored by Zee Studios. A family based in Banaras is selected as the Sutradhar of the show and they are thrust with the responsibility of getting responses from viewers. The talk show offers a light-hearted flavour where fun chats happen with celebrities associated with shows on Zee TV also.
Says Pratham, “I play myself in the show called Pratham, an aspiring actor. He is shown to have come from Uttrakhand to join the Hamara Parivar team because Hamara Parivar members are his family.”
The cast in the show includes Elakshi Gupta, Rao Ranvijay, Abhyuday Pandey, Mohak Matkar, Viren Gangwani, Vedika Raju Mundhe etc.
Talking about the concept of the show, Pratham says, “The beauty of this concept lies in its uniqueness. The family portrayed in the show is full of love, laughter and good ethics. They are shown to reside in Banaras and represent Zee TV. This is a unique blend of fiction and non-fiction, it has been given the stature of a daily soap but is not exactly a daily soap.”
“The family connects with the ‘Janta’ and asks their viewpoints towards the Zee TV shows that are aired and they see. This concept is an attempt to know more about the audience’s likes and dislikes when it comes to the show twists of Zee TV,” adds Pratham.
Overall, this marketing strategy of Zee TV to get direct feedback on the shows on air forms the crux of Hamara Parivar. Pratham is enjoying shooting for the show, “I simply enjoy shooting for it. This is a good initiative, very different.”
