Jaideep Singh, who was last seen in Ikk Kudi Punjab Di on Zee TV, and is currently seen in the newly launched show on Star Plus, Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, feels that the audience likes to visit places they see on TV and in films. Surely, the breathtaking locales that we see in films and TV, give us a larger perspective to the places of interest that we add to our list.
Speaking on the occasion of World Tourism Day, which is observed today on September 27, the actor says, “The entertainment industry contributes immensely. Most of the time, films and shows are shot so beautifully that the locations remain etched in our memories forever.”
“As humans, we are naturally attracted to picturesque views. It’s only natural to have the urge to visit the places you see on screen. In today’s age of social media, people often tag these locations with fond memories, inspired by films like DDLJ and various other movies and shows from around the world,” he adds.
Sharing his personal experience, he says that after watching Emily In Paris, he wants to visit the interiors of Europe. “My wanderlust has doubled since then! I would love to explore the interiors of Europe—especially Italy, France, Spain, Austria, and Switzerland,” he concludes.
