Manan Joshi who garnered recognition from the television serial Kaal Bhairav Rahasya (side role) in the year 2018 has completed his
graduation in Bachelor in Technology from Thakur College of Engineering and Technology, Mumbai. The young actor is a man of many talents and honestly, playing the lead for the first time ever in a slice-of-life kind of show like ‘Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey’ is just what an actor dreams of.

Here are his candid thoughts on playing the lead in the Star Plus show.

Tell us something about your character in the show Kabhi Kabhie Ittefaq Sey?

My character is called Anubhav who is a scientist by profession. He is a very sincere, adorable kind of guy. He is also a problem solver and treats everybody respectfully. Everybody looks up to him as he is an extremely genuine person who is immensely nice at heart. So, that’s Anubhav for you.

Have you taken any particular inspiration for your character? If yes, then tell us why and how it has helped you portray your character?

I honestly haven’t taken inspiration from any specific character or a person. I am a very observant person in general so I have mostly just grabbed onto specific traits of the people I see around. So, my inspiration essentially comes from a lot of people and not just a single
person or character

Tell us about the bond you share with your co-star Yesha Rughani?

She is a lovely human being. A sweetheart in every sense. She radiates happiness and is forever jolly and never without a smile. I am so happy working with her as she is an amazing co-star. We had an instant friendship from day one and have been laughing together ever
since. I am eagerly looking forward to working with her in the future as well.

What makes this show different from other shows?

The fact that it has no negative character makes the show stand out from the crowd. It’s a very relatable and vibrant show. As the Indian audience visually thrives on emotions, the show has a lot of emotions to offer in a very pure, nice, and enjoyable way and that makes it very different from the other shows.

What else do you see yourself doing next?

Well, I am doing what I want to at the moment, so what I see myself doing next would be the same thing, just better. I want my talents and craft to evolve five years down the line and my answer would still be the same.
