Sony SAB’s super cop show Maddam Sir is keeping its viewers entertained with its gripping storyline, unending drama, and internal nok-jhok in each episode. While our favorite female officers are busy solving the cases, the show is all set to bring in a new twist in the form of a new character, but she is not a cop. Unveiling the mystery around her, the show will surprise viewers with a familiar face, but she really is not who they think she is. Yes, the unique, full of drama and decked-up version of Karishma is none other than her identical twin sister, Kareena.
A complete opposite of our S.I Karishma Singh, Kareena is about to bring a new storm to the Mahila Police Thana.
Essaying both characters of Karishma and Kareena, this would be the first double-role for Yukti Kapoor. A minute younger to Karishma, her twin is an exceptional dancer but a little weak in her acting skills yet aspires to become the biggest actress in the industry. The camera never goes off for her, so much so that she never shows her face without makeup! She is extremely conscious about her looks and only prefers to give her best-left profile. All of her antics culminates into her sister, Karishma getting infuriated at her.
Will everything be smooth when the twins meet at the workplace of Karishma? What will be Karishma’s reaction with the uninvited presence of her sister in Mahila Police Thana?
Talking about the new character she will be portraying, Yukti Kapoor, said, “Kareena is the complete opposite of Karishma that viewers have seen for a long time. She has a sense of entitlement as she is famous, she throws tantrums and gives orders, as if the real-world is her film-set. Which is such a fun character to play, especially due to the contrast of playing a cop at the same time, who is serious about her work and doesn’t have time for anything else much in life. The opportunity of playing a double-role is quite exciting, and I really am enjoying the friction between the two characters, which I am sure is going to make for a very entertaining watch in the upcoming episodes.”
