The overall learning that I got in the role of Pratigya has been a big takeaway for me: Pooja Gor

Pooja Gor talks about Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya returning as a movie for Ankahee Dastaan.

Pooja Gor is happy and excited about Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya being made into a film for Star Plus’ Ankahee Dastaan. This weekend, the show’s popular characters will be back to entertain viewers in a new way.

We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Pooja Gor on her journey of being part of the three editions of Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya and she says, “It has been amazing. All three editions have been very different. Season 1 was very good, it was the longest. We worked really hard as we featured for nearly 750 episodes. In Season 1, I could not enjoy the success as work was hectic. I enjoyed every second of making Season 2. This film was a journey for six days. We knew this was the last time we would play these roles. So everything of it has been really good.”

Ask her about her overall takeaway from the show, and Pooja says “It has been the overall learning. I have learnt something every single day. The Maha Movie shoot was another new experience. We worked amid the fear of the pandemic and that made everything quite challenging.”

“The story in the Maha Movie will be played out by the characters of the show in the Universe of Pratigya, but it will not be the same. We have always taken social issues, but the treatment here will be very different,” she adds.

“I don’t go into anything with so many expectations. But I was never unhappy that it did not perform as well. It was a happy surprise, it was a moment to play the same character again. I went in to experience the Universe again,” she tells about Season 2.

“Please be there, watch the movie tonight, 17 November at 9 PM. We have worked really hard for this one. Who knows, if this gets successful, we might come back again” signs off Pooja.

Best of luck, Pooja!!
