Television actress Aanchal Goswami, who has featured in TV shows Bepannah and RadhaKrishn, is currently seen in Zee TV’s new show Rishton Ka Manjha, produced by Tent Cinema. The show explores the intense love story of Diya and Arjun who, despite being players of the same sport, share very contrasting outlooks towards life.
Talking about her new show, Aanchal says, “I feel blessed to be a part of the show and I am thankful to the producer. When I read the story and got to know about my character’s personality, I was certain that this role would not only be challenging but a huge milestone in my career. Hence, I wanted to do the show.”
She adds, “I am portraying the role of Diya, who hails from a middle-class Bengali family. Diya has a lot of similarities with my real-life personality. The best part about Diya is her positive thinking. I can truly relate to this character.
Commenting on the challenges faced while performing the role, she mentions, “As such there is no challenge, just, I have not played badminton on a professional level but my character Diya is a badminton player. I had to learn and practice the same to justify the character. I am happy that the training is helping me develop skills in my real life.”
