Neha Rana the talented actress has had a great beginning to her acting career!! Presently seen in the role of Niyati, Neha loves performing the negative role in Star Plus’ Banni Chow Home Delivery.
Says Neha, “The storyline in Banni Chow Home Delivery is very different from the other shows that prevail in Hindi TV today. We are a pack of lively actors on sets. We work hard and have good fun too when free.”
Talking about her character, Neha states, “I play a grey shade, you can say a completely negative character. You can see that there is a dark secret to why she believes and does exactly when Manini tells her. I too do not know how the track is going. As of now, she is there on a mission and is doing exactly what is told to her by Manini. Niyati’s exact identity is also not known. So viewers can make it out that there is a lot that is fishy about Niyati. The character of Niyati has not been established yet. So there is a lot to play as a performer. I can say that viewers have only seen 1 per cent of Niyati so far. There is a lot more to come of her.”
“I am learning a lot with this show. In my first show Ishk Par Zor Nahi, I learnt a lot from Abha Parmar ji. In Banni Chow Home Delivery, I get to learn so much from Parvati Sehgal who plays Manini and Rajendra Chawlaji who plays Dadosa,” Neha explains.
Neha says that she has been getting massive hatred messages and memes. “People are liking this tashan between Banni and Niyati. There are a lot of memes being made for them. Pravisht Mishra is a brilliant actor. It is a challenging role for both Ulka and Pravisht.”
On her career graph so far, Neha quips, “My first show Ishk Par Zor Nahi will always be special. Now Star Plus is a huge platform for me. At times, I feel that working in Banni Chow Home Delivery is still a dream that I am seeing. I think I am blessed to be playing this role.”
Neha is a bit apprehensive of being typecast in a particularly negative image. “Yes, in this one year that I have had, I have been getting a lot of negative characters. Just because I played a negative role in my first show, it does not mean that I can only do it. I will love to play positive roles too in future. I am confident of pulling it off. I would love to do comedy too.”
Best of luck, Neha!!
