Actor Zain Imam, who is seen in the role of Teerth Mittal in the Colors’ show Suman Indori, produced by Studio LSD looks forward to the post leap phase which will throw new challenges at him as a performer. The track ahead will also bring many surprises for the viewers.
As we know, Suman (Ashnoor Kaur) and Teerth (Zain Imam) have separated in the pre-leap climax. Talking about the new phase in the storyline, Zain says, “It’s gonna be a full roller coaster going forth. Teerth will become Devdas for Suman, and start hating his family for what they did to him. Suman will live for herself and Teerth will survive for Suman.”
Talking about the journey and how his role has shaped up so far, he states, “The simplicity yet depth of the story instantly drew me in. I loved how the script balanced heartfelt moments with humour and intensity. Plus, the chance to work on something that felt so raw and grounded was too good to pass up.”
He adds, “Every character I have played has had its quirks, but Teerth stands out because of his emotional complexity. He’s not just about heroics or drama; there’s a lot of introspection and vulnerability.”
He adds, “The journey so far has been refreshing. The energy on set is incredible, and the cast and crew have become like a second family. The directors give me the freedom to experiment, and the writing keeps me on my toes. There’s something satisfying about being part of a project where everyone is equally invested in making something special. It’s been a beautiful ride so far.”
Ask him if he feels any pressure in being associated with such a big show, and he says, “Oh, absolutely! But I see it as good pressure. It pushes me to deliver my best. There’s a responsibility that comes with being the face of a show, and I take that seriously. At the same time, I remind myself to stay grounded and enjoy the process because that’s when the magic happens.”
All the best!!
