Palak Purswani who was recently seen in the web series on MX Player, Roohaniyat has entered the Sony SAB popular show Alibaba Ek Andaaz Andekha. Produced by Peninsula Pictures, the show is presently going forward with its new season. The sad and untimely death of Tunisha Sharma and the subsequent arrest of lead actor Sheezan Mohammed Khan and his judicial custody, brought about a sea-change in the cast of the show. Actor Abhishek Nigam entered the show as Alibaba. Manul Chudasama replaced Tunisha in the role of Marjina.
As we know, Palak recently entered the show in the role of the negative lead, Rubina.
Rubina is the headless woman, who was once in love with Ibliss. She is now back as a terror to the entire village.
Says Palak, “This is the first time I am doing a fantasy show. I have done normal stories, and played negative roles. This is very different, totally out-of-the-world experience as it is a costume drama. It is a challenging role for me surely. Wearing so much of layers for so many hours, is a tough ask. It ignites the performer in me. It is new and interesting for me in the plateau to do. So yes, I am enjoying this role. It is fun to be on the set of Alibaba.”
