Popular actor Neil Bhatt is engaging audiences in a dual role as of now, in Colors and Saurabh Tewari’s show Megha Barsenge. In the Parin Multimedia show, Neil is seen playing the role of Jishnu, who works for Manoj, and of Arjun, who has come in search of his pregnant wife Megha. The unit is presently shooting in the exquisite outdoor locales of Bhimtaal and Nainital for the major sequences of Arjun coming to the no man’s land in search of his wife.

We at IWMBuzz.com got in touch with Neil to learn about his experience shooting for this particular track and about the tracks to expect in the show.

Playing the character of Jishnu is a challenge in itself. I cannot miss even one beat in the role and have to be alert.

Read on.

Take us through the amazing outdoor experiences for the track.

The experience has been amazing. This is the third outdoor shoot for Megha Barsenge, and I am enjoying it. I feel lucky and blessed to have had all these serene opportunities. We have been travelling together and shooting together. It has been like one bunch of people moving from one location to another for the shoot. The ambience in the outdoors has been pleasant and nice.

Recently, we experienced hailstorms too while shooting. We had to halt the proceedings and resume the shoot once the weather cleared. I had seen a hailstorm once during childhood, and to now experience it again, was another personal high for me.

The beautiful locations hold their own importance in the narrative and have stroked the story in a certain way.

You have had quite a lot of engrossing sequences in the show. Can you recollect a few of the challenging scenes in this journey?

Yes, there have been many challenging scenes in this show for me. One that I can recollect was the track soon after Arjun’s father’s death. The episodes that came soon after the death in the house were wonderful. Now, playing the character of Jishnu is a challenge in itself. I cannot miss even one beat in the role and have to be alert. Jishnu has made Neil alert, you can say.

How much input has come from you for the changed dialect and look of Jishnu?

Honestly, we did not have a lot of time to work on these nuances of Jishnu. But when I was briefed about the role and track, I had a picture of him in mind. I gave my input to the team, and it was a collaborative effort to create Jishnu. The lines written for Jishnu are wonderful. I have attempted the tapori dialect and made it my own style.

How has it been to explore beautiful locations while indulging in outdoor locations?

It has been one wonderful journey. The locales we have shot in at Nainital have been amazing. The same was true with the Georgia track, where we immensely enjoyed the story flow in a new destination. These beautiful locations hold their own importance in the narrative and have stroked the story in a certain way. It is always fun to explore and shoot at new locations.

The story is at a high right now with Arjun coming to save Megha and his unborn child. Tell us about it.

Yes, Arjun came to Manoj’s hideout place in the guise of Jishnu. He did not want Megha to know about his identity initially, as he feared for her safety. But now that Megha knows that he is Arjun, everything depends on him to pave a safe way for Megha and the child to escape from the clutches of Manoj. Our outdoor chilling experience is still on, as we are not completely over with this outdoor schedule. There is a lot to come, and viewers will have a great watch.

What can viewers expect now in Megha Barsenge?

Well, there is a huge drama to unfold. Every time, we hit a peak in the narrative, our writers have only surprised us by giving us a new dimension of drama. Without giving away much, I can only say that there is big drama to come and some major twists to unfold.

Megha Barsenge on Colors will now air at a new time of 6.30 PM from 28 April.
