Today, every home is a Bigg Boss house - Mohammad Nazim

Mohammad Nazim, whose super hit show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya has just made a re-run comeback, compares the current lockdown to the Bigg Boss house.

“Today the whole world has been jailed in their premises. At least Bigg Boss paid you for your stay. “Here, if you step out, you will get a royal pasting irrespective of whether you are rich or poor. “There is nothing to do at home; after all, how much can you sleep? I am passing the time being with family, and also chipping in with the chores,” says Nazim to IWMBuzz.com.

Talking about the current Bigg Boss season, he says, “Saathiya co-star, Devoleena Bhattacharjee played well at first, but her back put paid to all her plans. She had a good thing going with Rashami Desai and Siddharth Shukla. Minor scraps did take place, but that would happen if you lock in a bunch of strangers.”

Nazim, last seen in Bahu Begum, will not mind being a part of this above big-ticket Colors reality show next year if he has time.

What about the game which you need to play to survive?

“Do you plan to go home? I will be my natural self. Does our family not accept us, as we are. What is the big deal if Shukla loses his top or Shehnaaz Gill entertains? “ Similarly, so what if Asim Riaz needles others or tries to add an angle to stuff.”

But you do snap-in pressure-cooker situations, “Don’t we fight with our family? No one should take it personally. There is no need to trade abuses (even if the other starts). Smartness lies in defusing an explosive situation.”

Talking about Saathiya, Nazim says, “My international (Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Pakistan) fans are thrilled. I guess what worked for the show was its story. Just and fair family matriarch Kokila Ben (Rupal Patel), would not even shield her son (my character) if he erred. She equally mentored Gopi (Gia Manek and Devoleena) very well.”
