TRP matters to me, but not totally; I want to do good stories – Neha Saxena

Neha Saxena talks about her comeback vehicle with &TV’s show and on her priorities.

Neha Saxena who is all set for her return to stardom with her &TV show Siddhivinayak (Studio B&M) is in no hurry to get hitched to her boy friend Shakti Aroraa.

Says Neha, “Right now we are both busy; so we will consider it when we have time.”

Talking about jealousy cropping up in a relationship and eventually affecting it, Neha avers, “If there is genuine love, there is no scope for jealousy, as you feel proud and happy in the success of your partner. So luckily we will never have such issues, touch wood.”

Neha who has been around for many years (Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai and Tere Liye etc) does not have any real friends in TV town. “I know many people who are good friends, but yes I will never be able to share my deep secrets with them. For that I have my non industry pals.”

Talking about her return to TV with Siddhivinayak, the talented actor explains, “I feel once you taste success (my ball game changed with Tere Liye), it becomes more important to value the same. You also need to get better with each outing. Having said this, I have never been in a hurry to sign up projects. I only take up realistic scripts which excite me and allow me to add my own personality to the character.”

Besides TV she is also game for web series. “If something juicy comes along, why not! Everybody including B –Towners, is opting for digital stuff.”

Ask her if she will be comfortable, going dare bare and she quips, “I can’t say yes or no to a hypothetical narrative.”

Neha who essays a back stage dancer in the above show does love to shake a leg in real life aswell. After having impressed one and all with her groovy steps with Shakti Arora in Nach Baliye, she aspires to try her hand in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as well, “I feel I am a decent dancer and Jhalak would not only be fun but I will get to learn a lot on the job itself.”

Point out that &TV is not a TRP guzzler and she says, “Yes but I am more concerned about doing good stories. And there have been several examples of good popular shows across channels not getting numbers. TRP matters to me, but not totally.”

Best of luck for your new show, Neha!!
