A woman emerges as an exceptional mother, nurturing and guiding her children with unwavering love and dedication. She stands out as an incredible wife, a partner who brings joy, support, and strength to her family’s life. Resilient and courageous, she navigates the challenges of life with grace and determination, always finding a way to rise above adversity. As a remarkable daughter, she honors her family’s legacy and cherishes the values instilled in her. On this special day, 8 March, as we celebrate International Women’s Day, we envision a society that champions the rights, equality, and empowerment of all women and girls, ensuring they are afforded the privileges they rightly deserve. Actress Kishori Shahane who plays the power-packed role of Babita Ahuja in Zee TV’s Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye talks about the significance of Women’s Day according to her.
She says, “Women’s Day is a reminder of how far we have come and how much more we can achieve when we stand together. As a woman, I have faced challenges in breaking stereotypes, but I have also seen how determination can lead to success.”
“In today’s world, women are leading in every field, be it science, arts, sports, or business, and that’s something we must celebrate. Through my journey in the entertainment industry, I have played diverse characters, many of whom symbolize strength, sacrifice, and ambition,” she adds.
Talking about her role in Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, she avers, “Presently, we are shooting a plot where Amruta and Babita stand together, women supporting each other for the family and working towards bringing Virat back to the Ahuja house. These scenes truly resonate with me, as they reflect the essence of women standing by each other through thick and thin.”
She goes on to say, “I hope moments like these continue to inspire the next generation of women to believe in themselves, chase their dreams, and never back down. True empowerment begins when we uplift and support one another every day, not just on Women’s Day.”
Well-said!!
