Young actor Paras Arora, who is currently enthralling audience as Guddu in SAB TV’s Baavle Utaavle, is a fitness freak. In a candid chat he shares his fitness mantra and more…
Talking about his fitness mantra, he says, “Fitness is not only about going to the gym or doing functional training. It is all about how fit you are in your regular routine life. This can be through outdoor sports or yoga or any other physical activity you like doing. In my opinion, staying fit and active is more important than having heavily built up muscles. In very simple words, my fitness mantra is “Eat Right”. For us, it is not always possible to go to the gym and work out. Also, it is rightly said that fitness is 70% diet and only 30% gym. So, I try and control my eating habits by avoiding junk and eating healthy. I go to work out in the gym when time permits.”
He further adds, “I try to stay positive, always. You should try to surround yourself with positivity and positive people and try to eliminate any negativity that surrounds you. This will help keep your mind fit and ultimately lead to keeping your body fit as well. I believe what a person thinks, is what happens to them in real life. Hence, I keep my thoughts as positive as possible and try to be with positive people. I pay great attention to my eating and drinking habits. I specifically try including green tea in my diet as it also helps increase metabolism.”
When we ask about the one thing he can’t resist, he shares, “I have a sweet tooth. I can’t resist eating sweets. I always think that if I wasn’t an actor, I would have been a ‘halwaai’. I can eat any sweet item and this is my weakness, which I always have to be very careful about. My body type is such that if I don’t control on food, I will immediately gain weight.”
On an end note, he shares a fitness advice for his fans. “Workout is not everything you can do to stay fit. I myself opt to outdoor games when I have time, instead of going to gym as this is what makes me feel active. Outdoor sports and such activities are very important to build stamina and hence, everyone can do a lot of things in their regular life to stay fit. So, just give equal time to everything and balance your life to be healthy.”
