Well-known choreographer and film director Farah Khan recently arrived at RV actress Munmun Dutta’s house for a candid conversation. The film director started some insightful conversation, asking Munmun how she bagged Taarak Mehta. The actress revealed that she got the show through an audition, which surprised Farah. She asked if auditions were happening at that time, and Munmun nodded yes.

Munmun said, “I had done a show for Zee TV when I was in college, first-year college. That time, I was seventeen years old when U did that show ‘Hum Sab Barati’. That was my first-ever acting experience. I had no clue, so I came to Pune from Calcutta to study. So when I came to Pune, I started coming here; I took part in Gladrags Mega Model contestant. I didn’t have money, how much I struggled.”

Munmun Dutta bagged the role of Babita through an audition sixteen years ago. It has been an incredible journey, and the actress still entertains the audience with her acting skills.
