Eisha Singh, the television diva, who rose to fame with her exceptional work in TV shows like Ishq Subhan Allah, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, and Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani, is currently entertaining her fans as Bela in Colors TV’s latest offering Bekaaboo. Set in a universe where the ultimate war between good and evil rages on, the show follows the journey of two mystical beings, a pari and a rakshas, who share an ancestral enmity and an unpredictable love-hate relationship.

Excited to be a part of a different show like Bekaaboo, Eisha said, “I am blessed and lucky that I am always offered roles that are different. While working in such varied shows, you grow as an actor as they give you an opportunity to explore. Bekaaboo show marks many special firsts for me. Until this point in my career, I was drawn to social dramas as an actor and Bekaboo is my first show in the fantasy genre. The show is my first collaboration with Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and being part of her vision is a dream come true for me.”

Further elaborating on her role, she added, “I will be seen in the role of a girl who seems simple but is unaware of her superpowers. She is unaware of her family, and it is worth watching what happens when she finds the truth of her mystical roots. I am confident that this story will not only leave the audience in awe of its visual appeal but also make them think about the triumph of good over evil.”

Eisha revealed her bond with her co-stars and shared, “Monalisa is such a nice human being. There is something about herself that is extremely charming. She carries herself gracefully. It is amazing working with Shalin Bhanot too. We have just shot for a few scenes as of now, I am sure the bond will be great as the show progresses.”

When asked if she was skeptical about taking up a role in TV, post working in a movie, she quipped, “My background has been TV. Wherever I reach in my career, TV will be an integral part of my journey. I started my journey with TV. I can never forget my roots. Also, I will never limit myself. I would love to do good work be it on any platform.”
