The second season of Zee TV’s popular show, Ishq Subhan Allah – Ek Naya Mohabbatnama, has kicked off and looks like the audience has been on the edge of their seats with the show’s engaging plot, which is full of twists and turns.
The new season takes us deep into Kabir (played by Adnan Khan) and Zara’s (played by Tunisha Sharma) constant struggle against all odds to save the current generation of kids in Lucknow from falling prey to child-trafficking.
While she has been winning everyone’s hearts with her stellar performance, not many are aware that Tunisha has also been going the extra mile to make her portrayal of Zara truly stand out.
Yes, Tunisha has been learning Urdu for the role and has been seeking lessons in the language lately.
Talking about her experience of learning and understanding the language, Tunisha added, “Urdu is a completely new language to me. But when I started speaking it on the show, I was extremely intrigued. Hence, I decided to learn the nuances and the diction. For the same, I have been going for Urdu tuitions and when I can’t, due to time constraints, the teacher comes on the set to teach me. I even listen to audiobooks and watch Urdu language shows to get the pronunciations right. But the best part is that the team on-set also helps me understand the meaning of certain words and phrases, so that I can emote better.”
Kudos to Tunisha for taking up a new challenge and putting in a great deal of hard-work for her character!
