Gorgeous actress Manisha Saxena who is seen portraying the role of Ritu in Dangal TV’s Mann Sundar is happy with the way the show has progressed so far.
Says Manisha, “I am glad the show is doing so well. We never thought we would complete a year doing this show when we started, so I am super happy that we all reached here. The best compliment comes from viewers who tell me that they like Ritu’s dressing sense. And they also like how calm she is in the show! Maybe the dream bahu, who’s always quiet though, doesn’t happen in reality.”
Talking about the way the Hindi television industry has evolved with time, Manisha explains, “Since every individual is different, they have different tastes. If I like spicy food, you may not like it. Similarly, TV shows also have their unique audience. While some like mythological shows, others enjoy drama and kids/youngsters like to watch reality shows. TV has something for all.”
Talking about the activities she enjoys on the set off-camera, Manisha shares, “I am closest to Ruchi (Shruti Anand, who plays Ruchita in the show). We are like sisters and share our makeup room. We eat together, surprise each other and even fight with each other. I like to irritate her all the time but I love her the most. We make reels together, click candid as well as ugly pictures of each other,” she laughs again.
