Sargun Kaur Luthra the talented actress is entertaining her fans in a big way in the role of Preesha in the popular Star Plus show Yeh Hai Chahatein produced by Balaji Telefilms.
Yeh Hai Chahatein which is the love story and struggle of the parents Rudraksh and Preesha, essayed by Abrar Qazi and Sargun Kaur, has been seeing many interesting twists and turns that have kept the audience interested in the narrative.
Says Sargun, “The show is doing well, seeing really good numbers. We have hit the top ratings so far over the last week. So we are all happy.”
“Viewers have always wanted to see ‘RuSha’ (Rudraksh and Preesha) together. So when Mahima came in between them, there was a huge negative response. But now, things have changed. The cute romance that is seen now and then wherein Rudraksh and Preesha make love hiding from the world, has been very much appreciated,” says Sargun.
Talking about her on-screen partner Abrar Qazi, Sargun states, “Viewers love our onscreen chemistry. It is nice working with Abrar. We are good friends. We enjoy playing pranks together (laughs). When we are on set and working, we really concentrate on work. When we are free, we get into the fun mood where we chill together and enjoy. Abrar and I enjoy pulling each other’s legs.”
Sargun feels that the show Yeh Hai Chahatein has finally got its due. “Many of our fans feel that Yeh Hai Chahatein should be promoted more. They want us to promote our show more. We recently completed 1 year and we were trending too on Twitter. All this has been possible because of our fans and the good viewership. The increase in ratings has given us a morale boost.”
Before signing off Sargun exclaims, “There are a lot many twists and turns coming in the near future. We are hopeful of the ratings going up further.”
