Dheeraj Dhoopar, who is currently impressing the audience as Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s popular show Kundali Bhagya, is on cloud nine.
The actor is elated that the show completed 500 episodes, along with this milestone the show also become no.1 in the TRP chart.
Talking about the journey, he says, “We completed 500 episodes of Kundali Bhagya and also became no. 1. It is our double celebration. I would love to thank all for their all support and love. I still remember the first day when I was shooting for the show. I was excited but nervous. I really feel blessed and happy. Karan Luthra is the most popular character on Indian television not only in India but also globally. I played Prem in Sasural Simar Ka. The challenge for me was to remove that image from the audience’s heart and create a new place for Karan Luthra from Kundali Bhagya. I think I successfully did it. I would like to thank Ekta Kapoor and the entire team.”
Ask about his bond with co-stars, he shares, “There is a lot of positivity on set. Manit Joura is like a brother. He takes care of me like my elder brother. He understands my mood swings too. Shraddha Arya is a great friend. We discuss everything about the time. People appreciate our chemistry as Karan and Preeta that is because there is a comfort level between us.”
Commenting on the upcoming plot and Karan and Preeta’s love story, he adds, “There is a new plot coming up which you will definitely enjoy. Viewers are waiting for Karan and Preeta’s love story to begin. I would just like to say that the wait will be worth.
