Richa Rathore, who has impressed and enthralled the audience on an innumerable number of occasions with her acting in shows like Kumkum Bhagya, RadhaKrishn, Divya Drishti, is currently seen in Star Plus’ new show Aapki Nazron Ne Samjha. The actress plays the titular role of Nandini in the show.
Talking about her new project, excited Richa says, “The show is not a normal daily soap, this unconventional story has a great concept. The character I am playing is very strong which helps me to learn a lot of things. Here in this show, I am portraying the character of a Gujarati girl, so that has been one big challenge as I had to learn a new language and the accent. I hail from Himachal and the culture is very different there. I was very scared initially as I had a thought in mind that ‘will I be able to do it?’ However, with the help of my team, I managed to pull off. This show is helping me to explore a lot and I am able to polish a lot of my abilities as an actor.”
Richa believes her character Nandini is like her. She adds, “We both are quite similar, so it was easy to bring Nandini’s role in front of my audiences. The common factors are that we both love our families and we also are free-spirited.”
On commenting about her working experience with co-star Vijayendra Kumeria, Richa shares, “He has been very supportive and kind. We had an amazing time in Dwarka while shooting. We first headed to Dwarkadeesh mandir for darshan, then went on touring the city, went shopping, and gorged on various popular local delicacies. Also, because he is such a good actor, he has been guiding me a lot. It is my first show as a lead, so he is making me comfortable. I just hope we are able to develop a friendship that allows us to be confident even better professionally.”
