I just wanted to share my moments and not my figure: Priyal Gor

TV actresses and bikinis have become common-place, at least on social media. The latest entrant to this glam club is Priyal Gor, who recently posted her swimwear pictures from a Thai beach. We must say she was looking lovely.

“I had gone to Bangkok for a commercial, and deciding to holiday for a few days, checked out Phi Phi Island, Phuket. Normally I am a mountain person, but this time the sea took my breath away,” says Priyal, who has done several shows such as Ram Milaayi Jodi, Dekha Ek Khwaab, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya etc.

“I had never thought the pics would go viral on social media. I was just being myself and not attempting to change my image or something. I have worn similar out fits in my last show, Ichhapyaari Naagin, as well.”

Here, she clears the air that she is not in competition with other girls in stripping. “My pics were quite decent, and I don’t think I will ever go down the dare-and-bare route. I just wanted to share my moments and not my figure.”

Looking ahead, Priyal is game for more interesting TV shows, “I don’t have problems with blocking 20-25 days a month. For me a one-week break is good enough.”

What about digital?“I have just finished shooting for a 13-episode Vikram Bhatt web series called Memories, along with Rohit Roy. The concept was unique.”Here, she adds that her character of a 22-year-old intern was not bold. “It is always fun to play your own age.”

Talking about her web series, she says,“It would be too early to give my 2 cents. I don’t watch digital products. Hence,I would prefer to wait for it to come out and read the reviews before commenting. But yes, as a thumb rule, bigger web series like mine are shot in a grander and filmier style. Also, unlike TV shows, where we are always in a rush to can as many scenes as possible, here, we get more time to work on our respective characters. And last but not the least, doing short projects always comes as a whiff of fresh air.”
