Shahina aka Hina Khan and Shaheer Sheikh joined hands to celebrate ‘Children’s Day’ with underprivileged kids in a government school recently. Honouring the latest initiative ‘Ek mutthi Chaawal’, the actress spent the day with the kids, serving them specially home-cooked biryani, while taking a pledge to not waste food.
Sharing the video, Hina Khan wrote, “Meeting the kids to spread some joy for the Children’s Day celebration left me awe struck of this realisation that these small quantity leftovers can also make such a huge difference.”
She added, “Well I along with these kids today, take a pledge not to waste food and stand with @indiagatefoods in this fight against food wastage.
