Handsome hunk Dheeraj Dhoopar, who is currently winning hearts as Karan Luthra in Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya has joined the cast of Colors’ Naagin 5 produced by Balaji Telefilms. The actor will play the negative role of a cheel.
Talking about the show, he said, “I don’t see this role as a pressure instead as an actor I see it as an opportunity. This character is very different and I have never played such a role earlier, hence I am really excited. I just grabbed the role as soon as I got a call. I think my audiences and fans are equally excited to see me in two different roles at the same time.”
When asked from where he drove the inspiration to perform the character of an antagonist, he shared, “When I heard about my character in the show I watched few movies to drive inspiration for the antagonist role. I also watched Padmavaat and witnessed the nuances of the negative character. I did not try to copy it but I picked up a few things like body language as it is very new for me to perform something like this. Also, the inspiration comes from the show itself. I hope audiences will like my new avatar.”
