Surbhi Jyoti is one of the most amazing and popular actresses of the Hindi entertainment industry. For the longest time, she has made her presence felt in Television and soon enough, we saw her venture in the digital OTT space with projects like Qubool Hai 2.0. At present, the diva is receiving all the love and attention for her latest movie ‘Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai’ and her fans are super happy about the same.

Surbhi is someone who’s known to be very vocal and honest about what she feels without mincing her words. Sometime back, there was an uproar on social media about the unnecessary media and fan attention on Sidharth Shukla’s death. During an exclusive conversation with IWMBuzz, when Surbhi was asked to comment about what she felt about the fan and paparazzi controversy around Sidharth Shukla’s death, she was quoted as saying,

“I understand the part where we say that it’s a chosen life which actors or any public figures have taken. While I do agree with that, I also feel there should be a limit to everything. While we might be the medium to entertain the audience, we are not always available for everything they demand, simply because we are humans first and actors later. All the media and fan attention whenever there’s a celebrity death is pathetic and I don’t like it at all. Atleast, let the family and the loved ones grieve in peace. We deserve our private space and nobody can ask us to compromise with that. I really don’t think it’s too much to ask for. Everyone should be understanding in this matter. Yes, we love the attention and love from the fans and that’s what we work for. But there should be mutual understanding because we are also human beings who deal with different emotional stages in different times.”
