We are working towards developing a better connect with audiences at our new time slot – Ankit Siwach

Siwach feels that Rishton Ka Chakravyuh will have a lot to offer to the older as well as newer audience in the tracks to come...

Ankit Siwach who plays the charismatic senior police officer and lead in Star Plus’ Rishton Ka Chakravyuh (Rolling Pictures and Taurus Media) is enjoying his role to the fullest!! Being a man who loves action, he enjoys it all the more when he is given loads of action-packed sequences to shoot.

Says Ankit, “The journey with Chakravyuh has been eventful and I am enjoying it. By God’s grace, all is going well. We are on the verge of touching the 100 episodes mark sometime next week. Everyone likes the show and we have managed to hold the grip in the fast-paced story from day one.”

Ask him about the huge challenge of engaging the newer audience with the time shift from 6 PM to 8 PM for the show, he states, “Yes, that is the challenge we are trying to battle with right now. Our TRPs have been stable with no drastic changes. This means that our viewers who started watching the show at the 6 PM slot have remained very loyal to us. However, the feeling is that the newer audience is taking time to settle in and be part of our family and show. Since our show has had so much happening in the first lot of episodes, there is a lot of confusion regarding characters, their shades and presence in the story when it comes to the newer audience. Hence we are working towards developing a better connect at the new time slot.”

He adds further, “We are starting with the kidnap track of Laddoo in the coming week. And this will be a medium to convey to the newer audience about the track and story gone by. We will reveal in this track about how Vatsalya’s death was exactly planned and executed. In simple words, we will be relating the present story to the back story with lot of detailing.  This will bring in a transparency in the plot. Our show has most of the characters playing grey. Hence we will reveal and clear the confusion of the new people watching the show. We are coming up with a construction by laying one brick at a time. But yes, this kidnap track will do a lot of good for the future track.”

On his role of Adhiraj, Ankit avers, “I am happy that I am not playing just a senior officer’s role. I have various angles that of a lover, son, brother, friend etc. Also, I love action and I am happy that I get to do a lot in the action genre.”

Ask him about his on-screen chemistry with Anami and he shares, “The Adhiraj – Anami angle is very sweet. It is not a full-fledged love story yet. We share a warm companionship. All the tracks are taken care of and are running smoothly. There is no urgency in terms of opening up things too early. I am sure both our older and newer audiences will have lots to feel happy about in the coming days with respect to Rishton Ka Chakravyuh.”

Wish you all the very best, Ankit!!
