In a candid chat with IWMBuzz.com, Fahmaan talks about his thoughts on the year gone by and on the New Year.

Your thoughts on the year gone by:

It has been a crazy year, in fact two years actually. Having said that, 2021 has brought a lot of prosperity to my career. I am glad to have been part of two successful shows in Apna Time Bhi Aayega and Imlie. 2021 has been mixed with a lot of emotions. It has been peaceful, I have done up my house. I spent time with my cats, stayed away from Covid. My parents did fall sick, but that phase too passed off.

What do you look forward to the most in the New Year?

Growth. I look forward to growth all the time. I want to make my parents more proud. I want to reach out to bigger platforms and bigger audiences.

The New Year will be fulfilling to you because…..

I cannot answer this as I am not the one who will be planning ahead. I can say that I will do my best in whatever I have taken up or will take up.

Your biggest achievement / satisfying moment in the year gone by:

Being able to make a mark in the City of Dreams. I have grown to a point where I am recognized a bit. I have surely got a good start. I have earned some respect for the work that I have done. I would like to be known as a good actor rather than being called a good-looking person.

You want to achieve …. in the New Year:

More peace of mind than I already have. I don’t stress too much, and that is what my way of life is. As said earlier, I want more growth.

Any regrets you have for the year gone by:

No, I don’t regret. Even if there is something that I did not do well, I take it forward and get better.

Any New Year resolutions? How good are you in fulfiling your goals usually?

I had written a quote a few years back – Don’t make New Year resolutions. Your resolutions are guidelines in any way. You could or would do so much better than that. I know I can and I will. Happy New Year.

Having said that, I have a few big time goals and I am getting better with every passing day.

What is the special gift you want for yourself/ your family in the New Year:

I want to build a house that my parents want in the property that I have bought in Bangalore. For myself, I want a holiday, a long one maybe to Maldives, Europe, Bali.

Your message to your fans for New Year will be:

Happy New Year guys. Just remember that every day is an opportunity to grow and make it a better day. Nothing in this world can hold you back.
