Sumbul Touqeer the talented actress who is having a great time enjoying all the limelight for her lead portrayal in Star Plus’ Imlie has gone through memorable experiences in 2021 and looks forward to the New Year with new hopes.
In a candid exclusive chat with IWMBuzz.com, Sumbul talks about the year gone by and her views on 2022.
Your thoughts on the year gone by:
The year that has gone by will be memorable to me for many reasons. Of course, one of the main reasons being I bagged the lead role in Imlie. We also went to Hyderabad, shot for nearly two months. My birthday was very special this year as I bagged all attention with the popularity of my show
What do you look forward to the most in the New Year?
My belief is that I need to get better at work and as a human being with every passing day. I am also excited for my next birthday (smiles)
The New Year will be fulfilling to you because…..
I want to start my New Year by shooting for my show. The year will be fulfilling if I keep shooting with full spirit for the whole year
Your biggest achievement / satisfying moment in the year gone by:
I don’t know. I like getting appreciated for my performance. I also like getting told how to better myself. So both of these did happen in the year gone by.
You want to achieve …. in the New Year:
I want to learn a lot of new things apart from acting. I have started reading Hindi books. I have a passion for cinematography, so I would love to learn a lot about camera angles
Any regrets you have for the year gone by:
I don’t like regretting anything as it will not change what you have or what you don’t have
Any New Year resolutions? How good are you in fulfiling your goals usually?
Every year I make New Year resolutions, but I never fulfil them. In fact to tell you honestly, resolution happens for me every month. So I do not want to plan this year.
What is the special gift you want for yourself/ your family in the New Year:
I want to go on a small vacation with my sister in the New Year
Your message to your fans for New Year will be:
I don’t commit to my resolutions. But if you are capable of it, make some good resolutions and achieve your goals
