Yeh Hai Mohabbatein: An art school named after Divyanka Tripathi

Ruling the roost on television & also bringing pride to her hometown, Bhopal after being conferred the title of State Icon by Madhya Pradesh, actress Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who is popularly known as Ishita in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will be acknowledged for things more than one.

Apparently, Divyanka’s mother has established an art academy in their hometown in affiliation with one of India’s critically acclaimed ace dancer Dr. Lata Munshi.

Divyanka who will be in attendance at the launch of the art academy is exhilarated & shares, “I was thrilled when my mother decided to name the institute after my name, which I also feel is an added responsibility. Divyanka Art Academy will be a one-stop destination for people across all age groups to pursue their interests & passions. Painting, Dancing & various other workshops will be held under one roof. My mom who’s been learning classical dancing, Bharatnatyam for a while now, floated this academy in association with her Guru & also a dear friend & another pride of Bhopal, Dr. Lata Munshi. It’s an absolute honor & I couldn’t be more proud of my mother for initiating & executing something that had been on her mind for the longest time now.”

With Mother’s Day right around the corner Divyanka says, “For me, my mother is my biggest inspiration. At an age when women are retiring, she wanted to rejuvenate herself and learn something new. And now with this academy, there’s so much more to come….”
