Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut will take a generation leap on 6 November. The show will get freshness in the form of a new cast and storyline. We will see Shehzada Dhami and Samridhii Shukla playing the new leads. Samridhii Shukla will play the role of Abhira, the daughter of Akshara and Abhinav Sharma.
However, before the generation leap will happen, the show will take a small leap, that of a year!! A report on Bollywoodlife talked about how a one year leap will happen in the show soon, which will see Akshara giving birth to a baby girl. Akshara and Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda) will name the kid as Abhira.
As we know, the pre-leap climax has bigger shocks in place. It is reported in the media that Abhimanyu and Abhir will face their deaths in a car accident. It will be Akshara who will raise both Abhira and Ruhi as a single parent. Actress Preeti Amin has been cast to play the older Akshara in the show.
