Cheat Food: Fried momos, golgappe, samosas
Favourite Exercise: Situps
Fruits or Juices: Fruits any day, will be orange and grapes
Stairs or lifts: Stairs anytime, unless I am dead tired
Your best morning routine will comprise of: Meditation along with chanting mantras. I usually jog in the morning and then do yoga, followed by a nice English breakfast
Your favourite lockdown exercise: Climbing stairs has been my favourite during the lockdown. It has helped me maintain as well as lose some fat
Yoga or Weights: Both
Walking or Jogging: Actually both but I prefer walking only if I have a nice company
Your take on health supplements: The only health supplement I have ever taken is Woman’s Horlicks, I love its taste. I don’t actually think supplements are as beneficial as the real intake of those vitamins through natural sources.
Best way to burn calories: Green tea and skipping is what I feel
Your tip for everyday fitness: Try not to sit at a place for more than 30minutes because it slows down your metabolic rate. So make sure to keep doing some or the other form of physical activity that could be anything ranging from household work or maybe cooking or even doing some exercise at regular intervals. The idea is to keep moving and stay mentally occupied especially during lockdown. Also, don’t forget to have your favourite green teas maximum 4 times a day.
It is best to have dinner before 7 PM, and doing Suryanamskar as a part of the yoga routine helps one to keep fit both mentally and physically.
