Senior actress Abha Parmar who is known for her various activities for social cause has now taken up the huge responsibility of holding the flag high as Brand Ambassador of an organization called Pad Women Foundation.
Abha who is known for her recent portrayal in the Sony TV show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, feels that it is important that women in every part of the country understand the importance of the usage of sanitary napkins.
Abha Parmar along with 300 women will be travelling to the Pakistan – Rajasthan border on 12 and 13th of October, to donate about 1500 pads to the women out there.
Says Abha, “It is important that women in every part of our country understands the need to remain healthy and safe. My main aim in joining this organization as Brand Ambassador is to create awareness of the use of the sanitary pads. Nearly 300 self-motivated women who have the passion and hunger to spread the awareness will be travelling with me to the Pakistan – Rajasthan border. The army personnels are also helping us in our cause.”
“More and more awareness needs to be created on the same and I will strive for it,” adds Abha.
