After impressing one and all with her power-packed performance in recently-ended Star Bharat show Musakaan,Yesha Rughani is in chilling out mode.

“My sis and I have just returned from Maldives. It was a beautiful experience. We stopped at an island resort half an hour away from the airport. There were movies on the beach, snorkeling and boat rides as well.”

“Now I will go back home to Rajkot for a week. I am feeling a bit homesick. I was there only for a couple of days in Diwali. So now I want to spend quality time with my folks and grandparents and just laze at home doing nothing.”

“So first, me time and then family time.”

“Once I am back, I will surely start looking for fresh work. I am not really hung up on any particular genre. I’d rather go by my gut feeling which is very strong. Lord Ganesha also gives me subtle hints which I always pick up.”

Apart from TV, she is also game for web series. “I am ready for characters which show me in a different light, but not too contrasting with my real life persona, eg, very few clothes. But if my character is bold writingwise, I am fine.”

Talking about her Muskaan experience, this fashion designer turned actor says, “My positive character made me smile and spread the same around. I also learnt a lot from my co-stars, Sharad Malhotra, Sudesh sir (Sudesh Berry) and Moon Mam (Moon Banerjee).”

“As an artist, I also got lots to do apart from acting, dancing to Radha-Krishna and Ram-Sita themes, being both women.”

Point out to the buzz that suggested that the story left a lot to be desired towards the end, and she says, “I really don’t want to comment on things not in my domain. We actors are only required to put in our best in order to justify the script, which I have always done. I try to live the story, period.”
