Actor Kunal Jaisingh who is known for his portrayals in shows Ishqbaaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi, Pavitra Bhagya, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho, Saavi Ki Savaari etc, is happy that he has been surrounded by the love of his pet, Zoey, whose presence adds varied colours to his life. On the occasion of National Pet Day, Kunal talks at length about how pets bring about joy and also addresses the responsibility of feeling complete in their presence.
“Zoey is and will always be our first baby. On this special day, I wish and pray for her to always be healthy, joyful, and surrounded by love. May she never feel alone, and may every day bring her new adventures, belly rubs, and warm cuddles. She deserves the world,” says Kunal with love.
About the attribute of Zoey that binds her to you and the family, Kunal says, “Zoey’s emotional intelligence is incredible. She senses every mood, every energy shift, and always responds with love—whether it’s sitting quietly beside us during tough times or dancing around when we are happy. That deep emotional connection binds her to us in the most beautiful, unspoken way.”
On her favourite toys and games, the actor avers, “Zoey is in love with her plush duck—it’s been her companion since day one. She also enjoys playing fetch in the garden and tug-of-war with a rope toy. But honestly, her favourite “game” might just be following us around the house like our little shadow.”
Kunal takes a moment to address the importance of having a pet in the family, by saying, “I would say, bring a pet into your life not just for the companionship, but for the emotional and spiritual connection. Pets teach us unconditional love, patience, and living in the present. They don’t just become a part of your family—they become family. Life feels more complete with them around.”
Kunal wishes to enjoy the moment and day with Zoey in this way. “We would start the day with her favourite treat and a fun outing to the park. Maybe let her run wild on the beach or in a dog-friendly café. Later, we would throw a little “pawty” at home with balloons, a pup cake, and her furry friends. But most importantly, we would shower her with all the love and attention she deserves—for making our lives so much brighter.”
