Review of Sony TV’s Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala: Mere Recap Of Krishna And Yashoda’s Story

IWMBuzz.com reviews Sony TV’s Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala

Sony Entertainment Television launched a new show Yashomati Maiyaa Ke Nandlala produced by Contiloe Pictures, which highlights the story of Lord Vishnu who incarnated as Lord Krishna on Earth to experience a mother’s unconditional love.

Showcasing this beautiful mother-son bond, the show will highlight the various facets of Yashoda as a mother as the story progresses. The cast includes Neha Sargam as Yashoda, Rahul Sharma as Nand Maharaj, Ram Yashvardhan as Kans, Romiit Raaj as Lord Vasudev, and Hitanshu Jinsi as Lord Vishnu.

Though the show had an auspicious launch in Mathura where Lord Krishna is believed to have spent his childhood, it has nothing to offer new to the lovely audiences. On TV we have seen numerous shows which have narrated the story of Krishna. We have witnessed it from everyone’s point of view. Hence, we don’t find this show any different.

One thing we liked is the performance of the lead cast. Neha Sargam as Yashoda, and Rahul Sharma as Nand Maharaj are doing a fine job. Neha has very aptly captured Yashoda’s subtle nature. She takes it to another level when it comes to her acting skills. On the other hand, Rahul’S smile and calm persona have created magic already. His dialogue delivery is very pleasing to the ear. The best sequence from the first episode is when Yashoda and Nand talk to Lord Vishu. Hitanshu as Lord Vishnu looks divine and graceful. The calm on his face, and the subtle way in which he puts across the strongest lines possible really stand up.

What further impressed us is the look and feel of the show. Right from the settings, to the costumes, to the intro, the show has captured viewers’ collective imaginations like never before. Apart from performances, the story of the show is witnessed by the viewers numerous times.

We would rate it 2.5 out of 5 stars.
