Initiating from an authentic pind da Punjab, the show immediately introduces the leading love birds, Sahiba Monga and Angad Brar. The establishing shot embarks on the real setting of Punjab, with Angad waking up in his ‘Alishan’ bungalow at midnight with a garage of luxe cars, and highly expensive decors and Sahiba in her humble middle-class ‘mahal’. It follows up with Angad getting messages from an unknown cut to Sahiba replying to someone unknown. And most likely when you think the two are about to elope, the storyline takes a u-turn and makes their ‘two different worlds’ evident.

Angad, head honcho of the ‘Brar’ jewellers, wants everything ‘perfect’ in his life, and if something isn’t he discards it. Sahiba is someone who is extremely grounded and rooted in her culture. While Angad believes ‘money talks’, Sahiba keeps her esteem right on top. But their strings go attached when it comes to their families. However, yet when they bump into each other amid a busy market, it looks like a ‘third world war calling’ more than love. Will this ‘taqrar’ would end on a love loop? Only time will say.

The three-episode old show further elevates the other titular roles as well. Garry, the Casanova of the town is always busy with late-night parties and being a flirt. However, Garry, the younger brother to Angad, is more of a spoilsport. Sirat, the elderly sister of Sahiba, also the probable love interest of Garry has got similar traits to Garry. A late riser, her mother’s most favourite child, is extremely conscious about her beauty, and more inclined towards materialistic emotions.

Veer, the other Brar brother is again grounded and humble. Someone who loves ‘art’, and always carries a sweet soft gesture. We see him first dancing at the Brar mansion’s outside lawn and then with Angad at the market.

This story between the two families Brar and Monga definitely sparks off with drama, love, fights and more. Brar, the ultra-rich from the town, who are always heads up with their business running smoothly, but also has problems within the family. The Mongas on the other hand thrive to live a peaceful life, fighting all the odds. A mother who’s trying to get one of the daughters married to a Brar brother is dying to get a pass to Brar’s grand function, Sahiba trying to get one, gets a chance after meeting Angad and Veer who are in search of some artwork to present at the function to carry on with the rituals.

It’s a full-on romantic drama storyline to get tangled in. The show is streaming from Monday to Friday, 7 pm.
