Zee TV’s latest offering Teri Meri Ikk Jindri produced by Prateek Sharma’s LSD Films will simply make you fall in love with your soulmate all over again!!

Yes, that’s the ambiance amid which the story traverses. Also, the love story brewing amid the vibrant locales of Punjab certainly adds its own niche flavour.

Talking about the storyline, there is nothing different or unique about it. It is love at first sight story which develops into pure love in the course of time. But the manner in which it has been executed, is simply heart-warming.

The leading lady is a skilled taxi driver, full of courage and determination. Mahi played by Amandeep Sidhu is stylish, energetic and full of values.

The leading man Jogi (Adhvik Mahajan) is equally stylish, to the extent of putting different coloured shoes on his legs, to wearing a jacket which has different colour on either sides. He is the typical Punjabi munda, who packs a punch with his aggressiveness, but has a soulful heart within which there is respect for everyone.

Jogi falls in love with Mahi in their first ever meeting. It later gets revealed that they are actually from the same place, and live close to each other.

The family of Mahi has the grandfather, parents and younger brother. Mahi has two sisters, one is married into a rich household, while the other stays with them and husband even after marriage.

On the other hand, Jogi has no other male member in his family. His mother and grandmother handle the cowshed which gives them their bread. Jogi has a sister.

Coming to the big gun in the show, Pappuji played by Manoj Chandila. Pappuji is the brother-in-law of Mahi, who shows his wealth power to get his work done. He treats his wife like a puppet and uses her against his in-laws’ family. Mahi’s hatred for Pappuji irks him and he vows to take revenge. It will also be interesting to see if Pappuji even ends up craving to have his sister-in-law too in his life.

The sparks between Jogi and Mahi are flying high and with the dramatic wedding being shown of Mahi and Jogi’s friend, Mahi has gotten to know what a gentleman Jogi is.

The dreamy land that Jogi slips into very frequently, make for an amazing watch.

The best part is that Adhvik and Amandeep are the perfect cast for the roles they play.

Adhvik Mahajan and Amandeep bring alive the Punjabi dialect and its unique flavour on the TV screens. Their Jodi is refreshing and will connect with the audience.

Manoj Chandila has got a role which will give him his due is what we feel. He is fabulous in the role of Pappuji. He has the knack of changing his expressions very quickly, depending on the situation. The character in itself is very colourful and interesting. A well-etched role, must say!!

The other prime cast are doing a good job.

The amazing locales of Punjab have been picturized very well and enhance the beauty of the tale.

The story has been really pacey in the two weeks that have gone by. We have seen quite a lot of drama, and all of it has been engaging.

The masala and drama quotient will only intensify with time and this show will do well.

We credit Teri Meri Ikk Jindri with 3 out of 5 stars.
