Danish Akhtar, who rose to fame as Hanuman in Star Plus’ Siya Ke Ram, is all set to reprise the role of Hanuman again.
As per a reliable source, Danish, has bagged Colors’ mythological drama Shrimad Bhagavad, produced by Nikhil Dwivedi.
The series which will depict the post Mahabharata story, has an ensemble cast which includes Ishita Ganguly, Indraneil Sengupta, Rajneesh Duggal, Suchit Vikram Singh, Ayaz Khan, Chandan Anand, Vijay Badani, Yogesh Mahajan, Nakul Ghaneka, Waseem Mushtaq, Shailesh Gulabani, Priom Gujjar, Vidisha Srivastava and Anshul Bammi.
Danish will play the role of Lord Hanuman in one of the tales which will focus on Ramayana. It will be a 52 episode series which will air for an hour every Sunday.
Danish confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am playing the role of Hanuman. I feel blessed to reprise the role again on small screen.”
