Choti Sarrdaarni fame actor Anita Raaj and her husband Sunil Hingorani have got into trouble as per reports, with a complaint lodged against them for hosting an offline house party amidst the scare of the Coronavirus pandemic.
As per reports that are out, the actress’ neighbours were apparently worried and hassled with the constant stream of guests at her residence. And when they reported it to the police, the team came to her home to check out on the happenings.
As per reports, on Monday, the situation got grim with the local cops arrived at her Pali Road residence. But reports again suggest that Anita and Sunil got into a heated argument with the cops, and even clarified that since her husband was a doctor, it was a medical emergency that brought in visitors at her home.
We at IWMBuzz.com got in touch with the actress and she obliged to reply and we quote her, “There was an absolute no party in my house. It is an imagination of some journalist who was on drinks, and it is clear from the word ‘apparently’, that has been used in the article. There was only one visitor accompanied by his wife, who had a medical emergency as my husband is a Doctor. The cops did arrive on a false complaint and left without asking the patient to leave, which clearly clarifies the situation.”
Talking about the situation the country finds itself in, Anita adds by stating, “This is not a time to scandalize a simple issue. I am a responsible citizen of this country and I would surely not break the law. Stay safe, stay home and thank you.”
