The beautiful and talented Piew Jana currently seen in Star Plus show Krishna Chali London got married earlier this month to her actor/editor fiancé Manish Mishra (12 September ).
“It was a court marriage ( Bharuch Gujrat) and we plan to have a traditional ceremony early next year. Being from the same fraternity, I knew Manish for a while and we gelled having similar value systems. I am not really gung-ho about today’s youth’s takes on relationship, where while even when with the partner, the roving eye still does not stop. My ideal couple are my parents and grandparents who have stay together through thick and thin for decades. “
Manish works with well-known Bollywood celeb Pankaj Kapoor. Their new play will open next month ( Manish acts in the same). “After I said yes to him, we quickly decided to take the plunge rather than go dating. Accordingly we informed our respective folks, who readily agreed.”
However Piew had to endure a lot of pain while signing on the dotted line, for her dog had badly bit her in the right hand. We at IWMBuzz.com had written about it as well. “I am glad that timely treatment saved my finger from amputation. It was indeed painful while signing, but was kinda happy pain.”
Could you guys have not postponed the marriage given your condition? “Luckily the wound quickly started to heal. (But yes it will take a month to fully recover). We had originally planned to register our matrimony in Mumbai around the same time, but then decided to have it in Gujarat as my mom was also nursing a back injury. My in-laws could not make it but sent their best wishes .”
“One of the main reasons for not delaying was that inauspicious dates would have bedevilled our future packed schedules.”
Looking ahead, Piew who has also done a Hindi film would want to join her hubby in Nach Baliye or Bigg Boss. “My Krishna track will also restart very soon. The production house (Parin Multimedia) has been very understanding, regarding my injury and have asked me to let me know when I can resume shoot.”
“Marriage seems to have brought good tidings, for I have been informed that my lead character’s ( Radhe) sister track will really come into her own very soon,” adds the girl.
