Alchemy Films moves out of Zee TV’s Woh Apna Sa

Zee TV’s popular show Woh Apna Sa is set to see a change of production guard.

IndianWikiMedia has learnt that the show, thanks to its comparatively good ratings and audience connect, has received a one year extension.

However, the original maker of the show, Alchemy Films, headed by Siddharth P Malhotra, has decided to move out of the project.

Reason?

Let’s hear it from Malhotra: “With one year extension, economics is not working out. Financial unavailibility is the reason. We will miss it for sure.”

Woh Apna Sa stars Mansi Salvi, Sudeep Sahir, Disha Parmar in lead roles.

Well, with Alchemy moving out of the picture, channel is expected to assign the project to some new production house or run it under its in-house banner Esselvision.

Only time will tell.

Is there a possibility of a rapprochement and Alchemy, the brains behind the project, returning to the scene?
