Amit Dolawat as an actor is versatile and he proves it every time he takes to the screen!!

Amit who was seen playing a rough and tough cop in Dev on Colors will don the very different avatar of Shikhandi for Peninsula Pictures’ popular show for &TV, Paramavatar Shri Krishna.

IWMBuzz.com has written quite a lot on the new cast coming into the show. And we now give you yet another vital information on Amit Dolawat’s entry.

Amit Dolawat will be seen playing the half masculine and half feminine character of Shikhandi in the Mahabharat track in Paramavatar Shri Krishna.

The actor was required to perform a challenging introductory sequence wherein he had to perform a tandav and kathak together.

We hear that the makers specifically chose Amit for this role as he is a very good dancer and a performer.

When contacted, Amit told IWMBuzz.com, “Yes, it is an honour and pat on the back to be chosen by the same production house for another show in a very different avatar. After being part of two seasons of Dev, I am glad that Peninsula Pictures called me for this role. Also to play a character which is not much spoken about on TV is a great feeling. I am looking forward to this role of Shikhandi. Also this is my first on &TV. It is a great feeling to have played Krishna in Karn Sangini on Star Plus and now I play the very contrast Shikhandi, again in Mahabharat. To talk about versatility, I will say that I am blessed to be given out-of-the-box roles like this.”

Amit wish you all the very best!!
