We often see actresses not willing to go de-glam or portray elderly character for TV shows but popular TV actress Anjali went ahead and will be seen donning a bald look for her character Nayantara in Ishqbaaaz (4 Lions) on Star Plus.
The makers have shot a particular sequence in the show wherein Pinky (Nikita Anand) will be seen humiliating Nayantara and will remove her out of the Oberoi mansion. During the tiff, it will be shown that Nayantara is bald and her wig will fall.
Talking about her bald look, Anjali said, “It wasn’t easy sporting a bald look. When the makers came to me with the thought, I asked them is it really important for the sequence? Can there be humiliation in some other way? They answered my queries and explained me the importance of the scene.”
She continued, “Immediately, I said yes. I believe it is an one time experience. It took me 3 hours to get the look and when I finally shot for the scene. It was an amazing experience. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting for it. I am happy that I said yes for this look.”
