Anupamaa the Star Plus show produced by Rajan Shahi’s Director’s Kut will soon see a generation leap. The story of Anupamaa (Rupali Ganguly) will take a new turn with her being shown to be heading Aasha Bhavan even after years. The aged Rupali Ganguly aka Anupamaa will be shown having financial problems as she runs the old age home. Shivam Khajuria who was earlier seen in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Rohit Poddar, joins the cast of Anupamaa as the new lead. He will be seen playing Anupamaa’s business partner in Aasha Bhavan. Actress Alisha Parveen who was seen in Udaariyaan, will enter the show as the grown-up Aadhya.
As we know, the tragic death of Dimple where she was burnt owing to an accident that happened when Aadhya and Dimple were fighting, will lead to the post leap twists. Aadhya will be shown running away from Aasha Bhavan and from Anuj and Anupamaa’s lives. She will be guilt-stricken and will go away from her parents’s lives.
The new look promo of Anupamaa will show Anupamaa grappling with her financial problems. Shivam Khajuria will meet Aadhya who will now be tourist guide. She will eat the prasad cooked by Anupamaa and will remember her mother who is away from her. As reported by media, only Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna will remain part of the new phase in Anupamaa.
It is an interesting beginning to the leap in Anupamaa. Will Alisha Parveen and Shivam Khajuria be able to take things forward in the show? Only time will tell!!
